People with a History
This site presents the history of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgendered people. It includes hundreds of original texts, discussions, and addresses LGBT history in all periods, and in all regions of the world.

LGBT History on the Web
This is an excellent resource and provides links to a variety of archive and library collections.

The History of Lesbianism
This site is another excellent resource containing a number of links on various aspects of lesbian history.

Pride + Preservation
This is an unusual site put together by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and highlights the places where LGBT history has happened.

glbtq
This site includes an online encyclopedia of LGBT history and culture with extensive biographical and topical entries.

The ONE National Gay & Lesbian Archives
The website says this archive houses the world's largest research library on Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual,and Transgendered heritage and concerns. Though the site does not have online databases or exhibits, it has an excellent timeline from the 1940s through 2000s and a complete online finding aid for its collections.

Lesbian Herstory Archives
The Archives contain the world's largest collection of materials by and about lesbians and their communities. Though the web site has no online content as yet, the archives is certainly worth an in-person visit.
